Delete your Bellioo account

How to request it here

1. Enter the email address you signed up with and press “Send code”.
2. We email a 6-digit code to that address. It proves the account is yours: without it, anyone could delete someone else's account just by typing their address.
3. Enter the code, tick the confirmation box and press “Delete my account”.
4. Deletion happens right then and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way to recover the account afterwards.

You can also do it in the app

In Bellioo: Profile tab → Delete account. In Bellioo Business: Profile tab → cog icon → Settings → Delete my account. The result is exactly the same as here.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, phone number and profile picture.
• Your sessions on every device, and the link to your Google or Apple account if you used one.
• Your favourites, loyalty cards, waiting lists and the invitations you sent to other people.
• Your consent to marketing communications, including the unsubscribe at our email provider.
• The text of any reviews you wrote.
• Your upcoming bookings, which are cancelled and the business is notified so it isn't left with an empty chair.

What is kept, and why

• Past bookings that had a price, with nothing that identifies you. Accounting law requires invoicing records to be kept, and they are retained for the period that law requires.
• The numeric rating of your reviews, no longer linked to you. The rating was given and remains legitimate information for other customers; the text is deleted.
• Aggregate business metrics (visits, conversions) that can no longer identify any individual.

Anonymised data is no longer personal data: there is no way to link it back to you, not even from inside Bellioo.
